Steve Wozniak, one of Apple’s co-founders, is optimistic about Bitcoin’s future, describing it as a “mathematical miracle.”
Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, is a big supporter of bitcoin, and he’s talked about it a lot. In August 2018, Wozniak announced that he was working on a cryptocurrency company and praised bitcoin.
Wozniak stated that “It’s so independent, It’s kind of like the internet when it was brand new… I was amazed at the technology behind it.”
Two months before comparison of the internet, Wozniak said that he was not obsessed with bitcoin at the Nordic Business Forum in Sweden either.
He added, “I had bitcoin to experiment with and when it shot up high, I said, ‘I don’t want to become one of those people that watches it, watches it, and cares about the number.”
As soon as he mentions his supportive nature towards cryptocurrencies, Twitter didn’t hold back to post their views.
The developer, who also called him “Woz,” described market capitalization as a “mathematical miracle,” which is the largest cryptocurrency. He believes that gold is a store of value underlying this virtual asset. Wozniak stated that because of its physical shape, the precious metal may create problems whereas bitcoin is considerably more accessible.
Steve Wozniak also has his cryptocurrency registered under the name WOZX.
WOZX is trading at the time of writing for 0.00002146 BTC or about $0.719. Friday’s market cap is above $82 million and has recently seen considerable increases. WOZX has gained 43.3% during the space of 2 weeks and 14.0% in the month.
About Wozniak’s opinion
As a consequence of the argument between gold and bitcoin, Wozniak joined other famous personalities. Michael Saylor from MicroStrategy and Anthony Scaramucci, from SkyBridge Capital, have said that the cryptocurrency is better than the yellow metal.
