Line Announces Five 'Gamer First' NFT Games for 2023

Ahead of their expected release on its Web3 gaming platform Game Dosi in the second half of 2023, the first five games that Line Next, an NFT-focused division of the company behind the well-known Asian social app Line, plans to provide, have been made public. The newest Web3 games are Sweet Monster Guardians, Vestria the Last Order (VLO), KEROZ, Drawship Kingdom Reverse, and Project GD. An internally created IP called Project GD is expected to ultimately show up in a lot of games.

According to the company, every game has a different set of gaming mechanics. Sweet Monster Guardians, the first Game Dosi game to offer NFT pre-sales, is a browser-based strategic defence game created by developer Movisoft that is centred around the tactical deployment of distinctive characters.

Involved players may go on quests as a group and fully immerse themselves in the cooperative role-playing adventure of VLO. The Final Fantasy-inspired PC and Mac game is created by SIS Studio.

Instead, those who prefer dungeon-crawling "roguelike" games may want to play Superflex's action-adventure game KEROZ, which is available for both mobile and PC. Gamers have the chance to earn NFT prizes through avatars, robots, and dolls in Drawship Kingdom Reverse. The developer of the browser-based game is Nolatency Limited.

Project GD hasn't been given much information, but the Game Dosi website states that the fantasy IP will be a competitive trading card game (TCG) using decks of cards based on NFT.

The formal launch of Game Dosi is scheduled on May 18. The business said at its launch that it will provide a membership sale with gold- and platinum-tier NFT passes that provide advantages such early access to the newest games.

In keeping with its motto of "Gamer First, Web3 Next," Game Dosi will provide NFT incentives for its upcoming Project GD game. The tasks, which have a May 31 deadline, are available on the company's community website, where players may find them and complete them to get the prizes.

A raffle is another opportunity to win NFT gifts, and participation is contingent on how many people join up for Game Dosi's Discord server, according to the business. Game Dosi also announced the introduction of a secondary lineup of other games "featuring globally popular content in the second half of this year."

The network formerly known as Line Blockchain and, before that, Link Chain, is the foundation upon which Game Dosi is constructed. Finschia's native cryptocurrency is called LINK.

For the Line brand, this is not their first venture into NFTs. The organisation behind the well-known Line Friends characters, IPX, has disclosed a cooperative alliance with Chiru Labs, the organisation behind the Ethereum-based NFT project, Azuki. Together, the companies will look into possible prospects for content and products that include their respective intellectual property.
