Bitcoin Crosses $60K Resistance. Twitter Goes Haywire

Bitcoin’s price is at $61,348 and its market share is 46.60 percent, up 1.15 percent from yesterday.


On October 16, cryptocurrency values remained in the green. The worldwide cryptocurrency market cap is $2.48 trillion, up 4.52 percent from the previous day, while total crypto market volume is $132.29 billion, up 34.73 percent in the last 24 hours.

Bitcoin’s price is at $61,348 and its market share is 46.60 percent, up 1.15 percent from yesterday.

On October 15, Bitcoin surpassed $60,000 for the first time in six months, approaching its all-time high, as expectations mounted that US authorities would approve a futures-based exchange-traded fund (ETF), paving the way for more widespread investment in digital assets.

Bitcoin investors have been waiting for the first U.S. ETF to be approved, with bets on the move fueling the cryptocurrency’s recent rally.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will allow the first American bitcoin futures ETF to begin trading next week.

Traders and analysts believe that such a move would provide investors with a new way to obtain exposure to the rising asset.

Author of best seller “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” Robert Kiyosaki wrote on twitter that he loves bitcoin and he doesn’t trust fed.

In another Tweet he showed his excitement as bitcoin tops the $60K mark.
