Chingari Presents $GARI Token Featuring Indian Actor Salman Khan As Brand Ambassador

The Indian short-video sharing company just closed a $19 million investment round from over 30 entrepreneurial groups and private investors.

Chingari, a social token app, presented its first-ever crypto token, ‘$GARI,’ during a public event at Taj Lands’ End in Mumbai, with Salman Khan, the film star and the digital start-brand up’s ambassador.

Chingari claims to be the first social network in India to issue crypto tokens with the debut.

The revenues will be used to test the blockchain in real time, the Chingari Integration beta, and the impending $GARI token sale.

Republic Crypto, Galaxy Digital, Alameda Research, Solana Capital, Valor Equity Partners, Kraken, Blackpine, NGC, Coinfund, LD Capital, Borderless Capital, AU21, Cultur3 Capital, Long Term Ventures, Afton Capital, and CSP DAO, among others, participated in the investment round.

$GARI intends to change the Indian subcontinent’s creative ecosystem by allowing creators to build up their own e-commerce area that includes physical items, NFT creations, and the possibility for fans to pay their favourite artists.

“The Creators are shaping the future of entertainment,” says Salman Khan, Chingari’s brand ambassador. The addition of the GARI rewards programme will further inspire creators to create fresher and more entertaining films for the Chingari app. It’ll be a fascinating adventure from here.

He also tweets about the official launch of the $GARI token programme and new NFT marketplace.

With the launch of $GARI, Chingari is primed to become the forerunner of social infotainment platforms and will lead the Indian crypto blitzkrieg, according to Sumit Ghosh, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Chingari.

Sumit also posted series of tweets regarding the launch of the new token and encouraging his Indian counterparts to accept it.
