Cryptocurrencies and NFTs can be used to purchase the Italian superyacht VIANNE.

Since last month, the luxurious Italian superyacht “VIANNE” has been on the market for sale, and its owners have announced that they will accept payment in cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The price of the 52-meter ship, which originally went on sale in October, is EUR 8.9 million (roughly Rs. 75.4 crores). After the boat auction failed to attract purchasers, the sales team revealed that Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Solana, and NFTs like Cryptopunks and Bored Apes would be accepted as payment.

VIANNE, the world’s largest luxury boat to take crypto and NFT payments, features a helicopter, a hot tub on the deck, and Ralph Lauren furnishings both inside and out, among other features. Stefano Natucci, an Italian expert, developed the ship’s construction.

“While there’s still so much to do right after launching Novi — and I’m as enthusiastic as ever about the need for reform in our payments and banking institutions,” Marcus wrote in a tweet, “my entrepreneurial DNA has been nagging me for too many mornings in a row to continue ignoring it.”
“We wouldn’t have taken such a huge swing at Diem without your leadership,” said CEO Mark Zuckerberg, “and I’m grateful you’ve created Meta a place where we make such large bets.”

Marcus came to Facebook from PayPal in 2014, where he ran the social media company’s Messenger chat program before moving on to the finance division.

While this genuine superyacht awaits the purchase of crypto and NFT holders, a virtual superyacht dubbed Metaflower Super Mega Yacht was just auctioned in the metaverse for $650,000 (approximately Rs. 4.8 crores).

Several companies in the United States, including Tesla and AMC Theatres, have recently begun to accept crypto payments.
