Indian Decor Brand Rug Republic Accepts Crypto Payments

The Rug Republic, a domestic décor business, has begun taking all major cryptocurrencies for orders within India, following in the footsteps of big worldwide brands such as Paypal and Xbox.

The Rug Republic, a sustainable floor mode, with a presence in more than 90 countries, exclusively accepts its handcrafted Indian rugs, poufs, and accessories for the top 20 cryptocurrencies in market capitalization.

Though Indian professionals such as software engineers and content producers have long accepted cryptocurrency as a form of payment from worldwide firms, The Rug Republic’s decision is unusual for an Indian enterprise.

Buyers who want to pay with cryptocurrency on The Rug Republic must contact the firm via a link on its website. The Rug Republic is now using the WazirX and Binance platforms for peer-to-peer crypto transfers. It does, however, want to create an in-house cryptocurrency payment mechanism.

After getting the news, Twitterati starts to aware everyone of the new payment gateway method.

While Some shows concern.

The firm’s invoices would specify the form of payment, such as the name of the cryptocurrency, the date, and the price to preserve a proper trail of these purchases.

India has become one of the leading participants in the global crypto industry, with over one crore users and more than $1 billion invested in these digital assets, owing to the rapid surge in cryptocurrency values.

“The blockchain is a great piece of technology that will undoubtedly change the face of transactions as we know them. A new age where middlemen can be cut out and benefits can be reaped by all instead of a select few. I believe as entrepreneurs it is not only in our best interest but also our duty to adopt new tech that can solve very key issues in our current ways.” Raghav Gupta, director of The Rug Republic, commented on the announcement.
