VAHDAM India, a digitally native Indian health brand that has brought India’s best teas, spices, and superfoods to global markets, has announced the launch of its first NFT, making it the first Indian tea brand to do so.
They’re selling 10 limited-edition pieces of animated artwork as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), a type of digital collectible that can be bought and sold using bitcoin and is now gaining popularity.
They’ve already taken the greatest of Indian teas around the world, and now they’re on a quest to carry tea to the stars.
The NFT, or ‘VAHDAM India’s Ticket to Mars,’ is an exclusive virtual ticket that will whisk you away on a one-of-a-kind cosmic adventure while you sip your favourite beverages and take in the breathtaking scenery. Elon Musk is also featured at the NFT, enjoying VAHDAM Teas.
A purchase on the trading NFT marketplace platform, OpenSea, grants the buyer rights to a 1080-pixel 35-second video file for 0.015 ETH (approximately $48.03) and can only be made with cryptocurrency.
The purchaser of these NFTs will also receive exclusive unlockable content in the form of a $100 e-gift voucher.
Replying some of the users official Twitter account of Vahdam Teas also posted a tweet regarding the NFT launch and wrote, “We met elonmusk on MARS! It’s insane“.
A non-fungible token (NFT) is a sort of cryptography token that functions as a digital deed of ownership.
At any given time, it can only have one owner, and it cannot be copied or modified. While fungible digital assets, such as bitcoin, can be sold and exchanged as currency, non-fungible assets, like actual artworks, operate more like collectibles that can appreciate in value over time.
