Mark Cuban Partners With Voyager And Distributed $100 Free Bitcoin Among Users Signing Up Within 48 Hrs

The Dallas Mavericks, owned by Mark Cuban, said on Wednesday that anyone who downloads the Voyager Digital app this week will receive bitcoin.

Until Saturday, October 30 at 11:59 p.m. CT, anyone who downloads the app, enters a promo code, deposits $100, and trades will receive $100 in bitcoin.

The NBA team’s digital content manager, Bobby Karalla, tweeted. The basketball team and the cryptocurrency platform announced a five-year agreement on Wednesday.

The Mavs Gaming Hub, the official gaming and event location for the Mavs’ NBA 2K League franchise, will be named as part of the arrangement.

According to Voyager CEO and co-founder Steve Ehrlich, the platform partnered with the Mavs because of their NBA leadership and Cuban’s strong understanding of digital assets.

He also posted a post an appreciated his Voyager team members.

Cuban has been vocal about his cryptocurrency ideas, lately promoting dogecoin as a fun investment and comparing the cryptocurrency rise to the dot-com bubble.

Voyager Digital, which was formed in 2018, allows its more than 2 million verified customers to trade in more than 60 currencies.

The platform is one of a rising number of cryptocurrency companies attempting to break into the sports business.
