Martha Stewart To Launch Her Very Own NFT Digital Boutique

Martha Stewart has launched a non-fungible tokens digital boutique (NFTs). While many celebrities have launched their own NFT lines, Stewart is taking it a step further by curating collections that can be purchased. Stewart’s boutique, dubbed “FRESH Mint,” will feature a collection of NFTs created in partnership with well-known designers, artists, and photographers. Tokns Commerce, Inc., a major NFT supplier, will help launch the collections. The NFTs in this collection will be based on Stewart’s original artefacts and creations, which will be digitally changed. Many of the pieces in this collection will be used to commemorate unique occasions, seasonal changes, and festivals.

Martha Helen Stewart is a television personality, writer, and retail businesswoman from the United States. She made a name for herself as the founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, which included publishing, television, merchandising, and e-commerce.

For major businesses and renowned personalities from the realms of music, sports, and entertainment, Tokns Commerce provides end-to-end NFT solutions. Tokns made a splash in the NFT world earlier this year when it teamed up with Team GB to develop the first-ever official NFT collection for an Olympic team ahead of the Tokyo Games in 2021. Tokns Commerce designed the NFTs, which featured bespoke imagery by Team GB artist-in-residence Ben Mosley.

What does this NFT collection comprise?

The Carved Collection is the inaugural series of this NFT collection, and it will feature the pumpkin carving art of Marc Evan and Chris Soria of New York City, who merged Stewart’s classic Halloween costumes into chosen pumpkins. The announcement was announced on Twitter by the 80-year-old American entrepreneur and celebrity, along with photos of the pumpkin artwork.

“I’ve been so fortunate to collaborate with talented artists, creators, and entrepreneurs throughout my life. I see NFTs as a new canvas for creativity and blockchain as a vehicle to protect artists’ IP and support their incredible work,” Stewart said in a statement.

When was this collection launched?

The NFT collection that launched on Tuesday, October 19 has been released in partnership with licencing company Marquee Brands and NFT-platform Tokns. Interested buyers will be able to facilitate transactions in both, crypto as well as fiat currencies.

Stewart foraying into the NFT spaces comes just days after a DappRadar report revealed that NFT sales volume surged to $10.7 billion (roughly Rs. 79,820 crores) in the third quarter of 2021 – growing eight times more from the previous quarter.

In recent days, several globally renowned celebrities including Snoop Dogg, Steve Harvey, Amitabh Bachchan, and Salman Khan have ventured into the NFT space.
