The series is based on the demise of QuadrigaCX, a Canadian cryptocurrency exchange, following the murder of its CEO Gerry Cotten.
The 30-year-old died in a bizarre manner in Jaipur, igniting a significant scandal in India. Netflix made the announcement on Twitter, where it detailed a number of new projects on its platform.
According to , Cotten’s death in December 2018 was caused by Crohn’s illness, which is a kind of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
