Retail Giant ZARA Now Accepts Bitcoin In El Salvador

Global retail giant “ZARA” is now accepting bitcoin in El Salvador through lightning network.

According to the locals in the brand new bitcoin legalised country El Salvador, a bunch of people claiming that ZARA is ready to accept bitcoin payments in the stores within the country.

People have shared photos and snaps of their purchases from Zara and uploaded the payment screenshots on Twitter. The mode of payment was bitcoin and it was done through the bitcoin lightning network.

Here’s the tweet going viral over the microblogging site about the ZARA purchase in return for Bitcoin.

A picture of the ZARA payment counter clearly shows that there’s a notice stuck over there which is written in Spanish, “Caja exclusiva para compras con bitcoin” which means,

“exclusive box for purchases with bitcoin.”

Star bucks, Tesla, UATP, Microsoft, PayPal and many more industrial and tech giants are now accepting bitcoin as it becomes more and more popular and easy to handle.

Right now the ZARA’s bitcoin payments addition has yet not been disclosed by the officials but it already started a domino effect by starting its roots in El Salvador.
