Shiba Inu Tops The List Of Most Viewed Cryptocurrency

Shiba Inu (SHIB), a cryptocurrency, is no longer a joke. SHIB, which was inspired by a dog meme and dubbed the “Dogecoin killer,” is the most popular cryptocurrency in 2021, surpassing Bitcoin and even Ethereum, according to cryptocurrency price-tracking website CoinMarketCap.

According to CoinMarketCap, the Dogecoin spinoff received over 188 million views in the last 12 months, while the apex cryptocurrency Bitcoin received 145 million views in 2021. SHIB is now the world’s 13th largest cryptocurrency, with a market capitalization of nearly $20 billion.

Elon Musk, the tech mogul, uploaded a photo of the Shiba Inu meme going to the Moon on October 18, which is considered to have propelled SHIB’s rise.

At the time of writing, the token was trading at $0.000026. His tweet pushed the coin up over 50% to a high of $0.000044, according to CoinMarketCap.

Shiba’s Consistent Popularity

This isn’t the first time SHIB has been dubbed the “most talked about cryptocurrency.” Shiba Inu was the most discussed crypto in October, according to data provided by ICO Analytics, getting a 22 percent share of all crypto assets talks on the platform, dwarfing Ethereum by 8.1 percent and Bitcoin by 7.2 percent.

According to the graph released by ICO Analytics, cryptocurrency Safemoon, Solana, Cardano, and Binance were among the 10 most discussed crypto coins on Twitter.

None of the cryptocurrencies, however, came close to matching SHIB’s popularity.
