SKNP, a popular Caribbean Premier League (CPL T20) cricket team featuring international cricketers Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo among its ranks, has signed a multi-year strategic relationship with RageFan, a blockchain-based fan-first sports platform.
The collaboration demonstrates SKNP and RageFan’s dedication to sports and fan interaction. RageFan will assist SKNP with the introduction of its fan token offering (FTO) as well as a mobile fan interaction app for the club’s fans.
Fan tokens provide fans a “slice of influence,” allowing them to get access to special fan incentives, content, and experiences like meeting players.
The first set of RageFan’s cricket action card NFTs, which were released on Bondly, sold out in minutes. It has released a number of sports utility NFTs, including ones for tennis, soccer, basketball, and baseball (EURO, Champions League and Europa league, NBA, MLB).
RageFan has already distributed nearly 500,000 $Rage to its NFT holders as a reward. Satheesh Ananth, CEO and founder of RageFan, said
RageFan aspires to be a global leader in fan engagement and the world of FANDOM by providing fan tokens for a variety of sports, including football, cricket, and basketball, as well as other areas where fans are involved, such as music and entertainment, artists, and more.
Nevis tourism also tweeted about the new partnership.
