Sunny Leone Steps Into NFT Marketplace, Launches Her Own NFTs

Sunny Leone has launched her own NFT collection of unique, hand-animated art, making her the first Bollywood actress to do so. Here’s everything you need to know.

NEW DELHI: NFTs (non-fungible tokens) have been rather popular in the last year or two. NFT sales have brought in billions of dollars, from artwork to memes to tweets.

Sunny Leone, the Bollywood actor, has joined the NFT club. Leone’s NFTs will be available on her website, according to several internet publications. According to reports, she stated that,

“crypto is the future of the world and NFTs give me an opportunity to express myself with art and be able to essentially make each NFT its own unique token which is really exciting.”

Amitabh Bachchan had revealed a similar notion before Leone launched her NFT scheme. Although Bachchan’s NFT plan is set to launch in November, Leone is said to be the first Bollywood celebrity to have her own NFT.

WazirX, a Mumbai-based crypto company, launched an NFT marketplace in June 2021. About 15 artists, including canvas artists and digital artists, will use the site to sell their NFTs.

Meanwhile, Leone has developed a website for her NFTs and plans to collaborate with Mintdropz, a Silicon Valley-based firm.

It is stated on the webpage that, “The Sunny Leone NFT Metaverse is a collection of NFT’s – unique digital collectibles that will live on the Ethereum blockchain. Your Sunny Leone NFT is your membership access pass to the Exclusive content, Perks, and Access in Sunny Leone Metaverse.”
